 After the rescue boats arrived, Iris and Jason, along with every other survivor rescued from the island, were taken to SC Memorial. It was only after he saw Iris fall asleep from the medication that Jason allowed himself to be taken away by doctors. They took x-rays to make sure the cut hadn't gone too deep and damaged anything more than just his skin. Satisfied his stitches were well done and all he needed was rest, the doctors gave Jason a bed and knocked him out for the evening. Once he woke up, they re-wrapped his bandages and released Jason. 

He's been awake for about an hour now, waiting outside Iris' room as the doctors do their final checks before they're willing to release her. He's nervous, drumming his fingers against the frame of the hospital door. He just wants Iris to walk out of that room, cast on her foot, and pain free. He just wants to get her home, because she needs to be home.

"You didn't like that one?" He grins, sticking his tongue out at her. "I'll do better next time, promise."

"I'm holding you to that. And just holding you in general," she chuckles, reaching up and tugging him down with her. "Now be good, and give me a kiss."

"So demanding," he sighs, leaning down to kiss her. He crawls on top of her, smiling as they kiss.

[littleredsiren]

"That's me," she murmurs against his lips, arms linking behind his head. "A demanding little princess, wanting kisses from my boyfriend."

[jasonwright]

"Mmm, I have to treat you like a princess now?" Jason leans down to lightly nuzzle his beard in the crook of her neck, teasing her.

[littleredsiren]

Iris squirms, the scratchiness of his beard tickling her. "Yes. I'm a beautiful siren princess and you can be... The sailor knight who can't resist my commands," she laughs. Being silly with him is quickly becoming one of her favourite things in life. Somehow, they can be totally silly and it still feels incredibly romantic to her.

"A sailor knight?" he chuckles. "I don't think I've heard of one of those. What do I have to do as a sailor knight?" Jason presses light kisses along her neck.

[littleredsiren]

"Rescue siren princesses, obviously. And then take them home for kisses," she grins, tilting her head for him.

[jasonwright]

"What am I supposed to rescue siren princesses from exactly?" His hand plays with the hem of her shirt.

[littleredsiren]

She tilts her head, thinking that over. "Loneliness? Mean sailors that she doesn't like?" she muses, running her fingers down his spine.

[jasonwright]

He shivers a little, distracted by her touch. "I can do that. Promise. Anything else you expect?"

[littleredsiren]

"Kisses," she answers with a smile, keeping a steady rhythm, up and down his back. "And the occasional breakfast because this morning's was very good. And you should walk around without a shirt sometimes."

[jasonwright]

"My siren princess expects a lot of me," he grins. "But I think I can live up to your expectations." He presses a chaste kiss to her lips. "Better?"

[littleredsiren]

That brings out a pout. "That wasn't a very good kiss," she huffs, crossing her arms.

[jasonwright]

"Ooohh, you mean a kiss kiss. Okay, yeah, I can do that." He leans over her again, this time kissing her forehead.

[littleredsiren]

Iris reaches up, putting two fingers over his mouth. "I am going to kick you out of my apartment in a minute," she warns, smirking to show she's joking. "Kiss me properly, goose."

[jasonwright]

"You're scary when you want to be," he smiles. Still, he does as she says, leaning down to kiss her properly.

[littleredsiren]

"I turn into a scaly, fangy monster. Damn straight I can be scary when I want," she laughs, melting into his kiss.

[jasonwright]

"A very cute scaly, fangy monster." He nips softly at her bottom lip, consumed with all thoughts of her.

[littleredsiren]

"I'm glad you think I'm still cute like that," she replies, groaning softly at the nip, her fingers working at the buttons on his shirt. It might sound like she's joking, but she honestly is incredibly glad he still thinks she's cute as a siren. It makes her feel incredibly secure with herself.

"I always think you're cute." He leans up so Iris can finish with his shirt and shrugs it off. He knows Iris by now and how shy she can be. Reminding her that he likes all of her and that she never freaks him out is important to Jason. He settles back down against her, sighing softly into her lips.

She pulls back for a moment, just looking at him in awe that she could have met someone so wonderful. Then she's kissing him again, fingers brushing lightly over his now bare skin.

He slips a hand onto her cheek, brushing her hair back out of her face. He wants to stay like this with Iris--falling asleep with her and waking up next to her. Knowing he can't right now, Jason treasures every moment that he can enjoy something like this with her. He slides his other hand under her shirt, brushing his hands over her sides.

She shivers at his touch, sighing against his lips. Her fingers brush over the bumps of old scars and she makes a mental note to ask if he's okay with talking about them later. But for now, she's just revelling in being so close to him and being able to touch him so intimately.

Jason knows what she's touching. Normally he'd feel a bit self-conscience, but there's something different about the way her fingertips trail over his scars. He kisses along her jaw, lifting her blouse over her stomach where he rests a hand on her hip.
