A good sleep later, Iris slowly drags herself into wakefulness with a soft yawn. Squirming, she cuddles herself into Jason's chest. She lays like that for a few more minutes, just basking in the comfort and safety he offers, even in sleep. Then she carefully wriggles out of his grasp and off of the bed. Tugging on her dressing gown, she tiptoes out of the room.
It's already around ten, but even the animals are still asleep. Quietly, she sets out food and water for them before moving into the kitchen. Iris hums softly to herself as she moves around the kitchen, getting together the ingredients for a good breakfast.
