"No." He looks Davin straight in the eyes like he did so many times with his younger brothers when they were kids. "You rest up until your ribs are healed. Don't need you fucking things up more so you're out even longer."

Alfredo happily shoves his butt in between them, resting his head on Davin's leg while he looks up at the guy with nothing but adoration. "I swear, he loves everyone more than me. So easily bought," he tsks, patting his side. "He's a bit stir crazy too these days. He used to spend all day roaming the town while I worked the boat. Now he's in an apartment with a goat." Jason laughs because he realizes now how ridiculous that sounds.
