When he wakes up, Jason finds himself untangled from Iris, but an arm wrapped around her, tingling. He's not sure what time it is, daylight peaking in through the curtains of her windows, and Jason rubs his eyes before looking over at Iris.

She's still asleep and he smiles. Trying not to wake her, Jason gets carefully gets out of bed, wincing when the springs creek. He gets to the bedroom door, looking back to make sure she's still asleep before slipping out of the room.
