 After the rescue boats arrived, Iris and Jason, along with every other survivor rescued from the island, were taken to SC Memorial. It was only after he saw Iris fall asleep from the medication that Jason allowed himself to be taken away by doctors. They took x-rays to make sure the cut hadn't gone too deep and damaged anything more than just his skin. Satisfied his stitches were well done and all he needed was rest, the doctors gave Jason a bed and knocked him out for the evening. Once he woke up, they re-wrapped his bandages and released Jason. 

He's been awake for about an hour now, waiting outside Iris' room as the doctors do their final checks before they're willing to release her. He's nervous, drumming his fingers against the frame of the hospital door. He just wants Iris to walk out of that room, cast on her foot, and pain free. He just wants to get her home, because she needs to be home.

Jason moves his hips more steadily now, breaking the kiss to bury his face in her neck. She feels perfect and he can't think of any other place he'd rather be than with Iris. He nuzzles just under her ear, pressing kisses down her neck, collarbone, and down to her chest,

Moans are coming more steadily now as the heat and pressure builds in her stomach. Her fingers trace over the lines of his back muscles and she wants to cry she's so consumed by the rightness of being with him now.

He swears under his breath, losing himself completely in her. Touching her and exploring her body is all he wants to do for as long as she'll let him. Shuddering as her fingers trail along his back, Jason quickens his pace, feeling that longing build up inside of him.

Iris rolls her hips up against him, burying her face in the crook of his shoulder as her body trembles with the need for release. She presses desperate kisses into his skin, coming away with the taste of him on her lips as she moans his name again.

He grips her thigh, pulling her further onto him as she moans his name again. It's driving him insane and feels himself reach his peak, shuddering against Iris, his body tensing against her.

A moment later, she's there with him, clinging to him like a life line as she trembles with the feeling of release. She's gasping against his skin, heart racing as her mind slowly clears and everything comes back into focus.

His heart is racing as he comes down and Jason chuckles softly, moving to kiss Iris' cheek. His mind is clearing and he can't believe they just did that. He lifts a hand, threading it through her hair. "Wow."

Iris shivers slightly beneath him, a little overwhelmed by everything. She hadn't expected for things to go so far but it just felt so good and right. She doesn't regret a thing, but she's still rather lost for words.

"Thank you," she whispers, giving him a wide-eyed look, hand cupping his cheek. It probably sounds silly but it's all she can think to say. It encompasses so much. Thank you for sharing that with me. Thank you for being gentle with me. Thank you for caring for me and for being my rock.

His face falls a bit when she thanks him, completely not expecting that. But he understands what she means and he can feel his chest swell. He tilts his head to kiss her palm.

Jason brushes another kiss against her bare shoulder. "I uh...Thank you. For everything."

She blushes hard, wrapping her arms around his neck and just hugging him to her. Tucking her head under his chin, she just lays there, breathing softly in the strongest sense of calm she thinks she's ever experienced. "I was okay, right?" she mumbles as the thought finally pops into her head.

Jason smiles, his cheeks still flushed. He kisses her again, softer this time. "You were great. And we can practice all you want."

She can't stop the small laugh that slips out, her cheeks warm as she presses a soft kiss against his lips. "I think I'd like that. A lot," she admits, running her thumbs over his jaw.

"Good." He rolls over to his back, still catching his breath. "You're amazing, you know."

[littleredsiren]

Iris blushes, tugging the blankets up to cover herself, self-conscious now. "Stop that," she grumbles, ducking her head. "Don't get all silly on me now."

Jason smiles and pulls Iris to him. "Too late, you broke my brain."

[littleredsiren]

She squirms in his arms until she can see him properly, still blushing but less so now. "I did not," she tuts, curling up comfortably against him. "You're ridiculous, you know that, right?"

"I know," he laughs. He's unbelievably happy right now and plays with the ends of Iris' hair. "I think I'm gonna get a shower. Clean up before we sleep."

"Probably a good idea," she admits, nuzzling his chest happily. She wants him to stay, really, but he's probably pretty uncomfortable right now. At least she'd managed to grab a shower while he was out picking up Alfredo.

He kisses her cheek before getting out of bed to go grab a shower. It's like heaven. He had showered at the hospital, but showering at Iris' feels more relaxing. After finishing, he wraps a towel around his waist and enters the bedroom again.



"I feel a thousand times better," he grins.

Iris is stretched out on her stomach when he gets back, half asleep already. But the sight of him in just a towel is enough to wake her right back up.

"I'd say you look a thousand times better but you always look amazing," she teases, biting her lip as she rolls back over.

He smiles when Iris' attention is focused on him and he crawls back into bed, dropping the towel on the floor.

"Are you flirting with me, Miss Kouris?"

"I might be..." she teases, hiding her blush with a hand when he's suddenly naked again. "Do you have a problem with that?"

He gets under the covers and looks at her with a lopsided grin. "No problem here. Please, flirt away, gorgeous."

[littleredsiren]

Laughing, she leans over and presses a soft kiss to his lips before laying back down next to him. Reaching out, she twirls little sections of his still damp hair around her fingers, amused by how they curl slightly. "You need to stop being so handsome, okay?"

She's playing with his hair and Jason smiles softly, relaxing at the feeling. "I'll just show up here right after a day on the boat all sweaty and gross then."
