You got that James Dean day dream look in your eye {Iris}

 Jason had promised to take Iris out on a date one day. And now that everything seemed to be getting back to normal in town, they agreed that tonight would be the night. With a half day of work put in at the shop, Jason headed back to the apartment for a shower and a change of clothes when he saw his reflection in the mirror and realized just how much he'd let himself go. So with Alfredo by his side, he made his way to a hair shop nearby. The ladies there were very nice and trimmed his hair and beard a bit. They even asked permission to style his hair differently, and figuring, hell, he should look a little put together, he agreed. 

He left the salon feeling like a new man and, very painstakingly, sent Iris a text to let her know that he'd meet her at the apartment. After running one more errand, he heads back to their home.

"Have you forgotten where I used to live?" he chuckles, brushing a lock of her hair behind her ear. "I've run into plenty of musicians in my time. You won't annoy me one bit."

"They probably actually knew how to play though," she points out with a grin, leaning into his touch. "Probably weren't strumming the same two chords over and over again for an hour, trying to get their fingering down."

"Still won't bug me," he promises with an admiring smile. "Besides, I'll be helping Davin a bit more at the garage. You'll have some practice time before I get home."

Iris pouts at that, rolling back onto the mattress. "I should be glad I have more practice time but... That means you won't be home as much," she sulks.

He looks at her pout and crawls over Iris, giving her an extra cute look. "I'm sorry, baby. Davin's finally getting rid of those assholes. It's just temporary til he replaces them."

She sighs, pouting harder. "I know... But I'm sad about it anyway. I don't begrudge Davin your help, I just hate missing out on time with you," Iris huffs, knowing she sounds childish but ignoring it.

It still amazes Jason that someone wants to spend as much time with him as Iris obviously does. Truth be told, he'd much rather spend as much time with her as possible. "I know, love. I hate it too. We'll just make the most of our nights until it slows down."

Reaching up, Iris cups his face and sticks her tongue out at him. "Fine. But if Davin keeps you too long I reserve the right to call girlfriend privileges and keep you home for a day."

Jason smiles teasingly. "You promise? Girlfriend privileges always come first. I gotta make sure you're happy'."

"Pinky promise," she grins, holding her finger out for him. "I'll even invoke special siren girlfriend privileges if I need to."

Jason hooks his pinky around Iris' with a grin. "Special siren girlfriend privileges?"

Iris' grin quickly turns predatory and she leans up, bumping noses with him. "Yes. Special siren girlfriend privileges," she chuckles, wiggling her eyebrows at him.

His smile changes to one of understanding and Jason bites his lip. "That's also a priority over work."

[littleredsiren]

"That's a priority over everything, if you ask me," she smirks, pressing a quick kiss to the end of his nose. "But I'm the siren girlfriend so..."

"Even over regular girlfriend? Which one wins, regular girlfriend or siren girlfriend?"

[littleredsiren]

"Regular girlfriend is just... satisfied siren girlfriend," she points out with a cheeky little grin. "So probably siren girlfriend. Siren girlfriend gets pushy."

[jasonwright]

"Oh, I see," he grins. "Siren girlfriend comes before everything else then."

[littleredsiren]

"Damn straight," Iris giggles, leaning up to kiss him gently. "Siren girlfriend is very pushy when she feels neglected. And maybe a little scary."

"I like when siren girlfriend gets pushy." He returns the kiss and lays back against the pillow with his arms folded behind his head. "Siren girlfriend gets a bit territorial."

"Nooo! Siren girlfriend would never," she laughs, resting against his chest and grinning up at him. "She's just... a teensy bit needy."

"Oh no. She's territorial alright," he teases. "Needy, huh? One day I won't be able to keep up with her."

Iris tilts her head, contemplating that. "Well... I'll just have to find a new boyfriend then!" she finally chirps, batting her lashes at him innocently.

[jasonwright]

"No, no no." Jason shakes his head forcefully. "No other boyfriends for you."

[littleredsiren]

"But you won't be able to keep up with me!" she protests, eyes wide. "You said so yourself!"

[jasonwright]

"Nope. Still no other boyfriends. I'll just....practice a lot?"
