You got that James Dean day dream look in your eye {Iris}

 Jason had promised to take Iris out on a date one day. And now that everything seemed to be getting back to normal in town, they agreed that tonight would be the night. With a half day of work put in at the shop, Jason headed back to the apartment for a shower and a change of clothes when he saw his reflection in the mirror and realized just how much he'd let himself go. So with Alfredo by his side, he made his way to a hair shop nearby. The ladies there were very nice and trimmed his hair and beard a bit. They even asked permission to style his hair differently, and figuring, hell, he should look a little put together, he agreed. 

He left the salon feeling like a new man and, very painstakingly, sent Iris a text to let her know that he'd meet her at the apartment. After running one more errand, he heads back to their home.

Reaching up, he runs his fingers through Iris' hair. "Give me one good reason why I wouldn't want to."

She tilts her head into his touch, enjoying the gentle tug. "Mmmm... I'm here and I'm not wearing any clothes?"

Jason pauses his fiddling with Iris' hair and smiles slowly. "Yeah, that's a pretty damn good reason."

Iris grins at that, leaning down and kissing him gently again. "Plus, it's nice and warm in here and you'd be very cold out there with no clothes."

He makes a satisfied noise at the kiss. "You're right. It is awfully cold out there..."

"So, you should stay then!" she chirps, rolling back onto her side of the bed and propping herself up on an elbow to grin at him.

[jasonwright]

"I will never leave this bed as long as you're in it and naked," he smirks, moving to sit up against the headboard.

[littleredsiren]

"Promise?" she asks, reaching up and twirling a lock of his hair between her fingers.

[jasonwright]

"Cross my heart." Jason follows the motion. "Do you promise to be naked in bed all the time?"

[littleredsiren]

"I mean... I've gotta get out once in awhile. For food and showers, you know? But otherwise... I think I can do that," she smirks.

[jasonwright]

"I'm very okay with you getting out for food, especially," he grins. "And I guess you need to go to work. And be my date to things. You should definitely wear clothes for all that."

[littleredsiren]

Iris laughs, shaking her head. "Really? Cause I was thinking I should start parading around town in the nude, personally..."

[jasonwright]

Jason shakes his head, playfully frowning. "Nope. Not allowed."

[littleredsiren]

"No? But you'd get to see me naked all the time," she teases.

[jasonwright]

"But so would everyone else," he tsks. "I worked hard for that privilege."

[littleredsiren]

Iris laughs, pulling herself up to kiss his cheek. "Fine. I won't walk around town naked. That'll be saved for you and you alone."

Jason grins and leans into her kiss. "Aww, you know how to make a guy feel special."

[littleredsiren]

"You're so special," she coos playfully, scooching over to rest against his chest. "The most special guy I know. And I know a lot of guys."

[jasonwright]

"Nnnnaawww, I bet you say that to all the guys." Jason stretches out on the bed before curling his body around Iris.

[littleredsiren]

"Nope. Only the ones I love," Iris laughs, snuggling into the space he's made.

[jasonwright]

"Well now I just feel special," he grins, leaning over to kiss her nose.

[littleredsiren]

"You're soooo special," she coos, scrunching up her nose in response. "The most special person ever, didn't you know?"

[jasonwright]

Jason laughs, pulling away from her. "Okay, now I feel like you're just patronizing me."

[littleredsiren]

"Whaaat? I would never," she giggles, reaching over to scratch under his chin. "You are the most special! I promise!"

[jasonwright]

"You're totally not convincing right now, I hope you know that," Jason grins. He lifts his chin and closes his eyes, enjoying the scratches.
