You got that James Dean day dream look in your eye {Iris}

 Jason had promised to take Iris out on a date one day. And now that everything seemed to be getting back to normal in town, they agreed that tonight would be the night. With a half day of work put in at the shop, Jason headed back to the apartment for a shower and a change of clothes when he saw his reflection in the mirror and realized just how much he'd let himself go. So with Alfredo by his side, he made his way to a hair shop nearby. The ladies there were very nice and trimmed his hair and beard a bit. They even asked permission to style his hair differently, and figuring, hell, he should look a little put together, he agreed. 

He left the salon feeling like a new man and, very painstakingly, sent Iris a text to let her know that he'd meet her at the apartment. After running one more errand, he heads back to their home.

Jason follows her to the couch and waits until her eyes are properly closed. He reaches behind the couch where he hid her gif and pulls it out. It's...very difficult to wrap an acoustic guitar, so he's just placed a nice bow on top. With a smile, he places the guitar on her lap.

"Alright, open."

Iris frowns slightly, trying to figure out what the present is before he tells her to open her eyes. When she does, she lets out a soft gasp that quickly turns into a squeal of excitement.

"Are you kidding me?! Oh my god, this is amazing!!" she chirps, picking it up and running her hands over it with a ridiculous grin. "Oh my god!! Come here so I can kiss you!"

Jason watches as she reacts to the guitar and he grins. He really likes giving her things and making her happy. He moves to sit next to her on the couch and leans in to her.

"I told you it was awesome."

Iris carefully rests the guitar across her lap, leaning over and kissing him thoroughly. "I love you so much. You didn't have to get this for me," she smiles, resting her head on his shoulder. "Though, I'm glad you did. I can't believe you remembered me saying I wanted to learn!"

He kisses the top of her head as she leans on him and rubs her back. "I know. I wanted to do something for you and I saw this guy in a shop window. I thought it'd be perfect for you."

"Of course I remembered. I remember a lot of what you tell me. Oh, and the guy that owns the shop gives lessons if you ever wanna take him up on that."

"It's beautiful," she smiles, strumming it lightly. "I'll definitely have to take him up on that. Soon, I'll be able to properly serenade you all the time. Lure you in like a proper siren."

"Oh man, how am I ever gonna be able to resist you?" he laughs. "I can't wait to hear what you come up with."

"I dunno... You do a pretty crappy job of it already," she smirks, kissing the corner of his lips. "I'll end up just keeping you in the bedroom forever."

"You are pretty irresistible." Jason leans into her touch, completely taken in by her. "I have no problem with that plan."

Iris carefully sets the guitar aside, pulling one leg onto the couch so she can kneel. Reaching up, she cups his face and kisses him properly. "I'm pretty pleased with it myself," she teases.

Jason kisses her back with a smile, leaning back against the couch and pulling Iris with him. "You come up with the best ideas, you know.'

Iris slips onto his lap with a pleased grin, wrapping her arms around his neck and pressing kiss after kiss against his lips. "I'm glad you've noticed," she says, practically purring now. "I'm a tactical genius."

"I'm glad...about...a lot of things..." Jason quickly loses focus as Iris pours attention onto him. His hands move to rest on her hips as he happily kisses her back.

She keeps up the kisses for a few minutes, running her hands through his hair and down his neck, clearly working hard to dizzy him. Then suddenly, she sits back and rolls off his lap, picking up the guitar.

"All right! I'm going to practice now!" she chirps, trying not to smirk.

Jason stares at Iris for a good few minutes before he knits his brows and frowns. "No." He takes the guitar and sets it down on the other end of the couch. "No."

"No?" she asks, tilting her head and giving him the most innocent look she can muster. "But I won't learn if I can't practice!"

[jasonwright]

"Learn tomorrow," he pouts, acting like he's a spoiled brat. Sitting up, he gives Iris a look. "Pay attention to me."

Iris gets up, tilting her head like she's thinking it over as she looks down on him. "I don't knooow... We did have a long day. Maybe I just want to go to bed..." she muses, taking a couple steps towards the bedroom.

There's moments where Jason can't believe the hold Iris has over him and this is exactly one of those moments. He slowly gets up from the couch, watching her before he follows her. "If that's what you want..."

"Mmmm... Yeah, bed sounds like the best idea to me," she says, throwing him a grin over her shoulder as she slips through the bedroom door. Iris pauses as she walks in, reaching down and tugging her shirt over her head, tossing it into the laundry basket before peeking over her shoulder again. "Coming?"

"Yup, bed sounds amazing." He gives a lopsided grin as she looks back at him and follows her into the bedroom. Jason closes the door behind them and leans back against it, his eyes wandering over Iris.

Iris kicks off her skirt, flinging it in the general direction of the basket before she stalks over to where Jason leans against the door. Pressing against him, she reaches up and fiddles with the buttons of his shirt.

"You're not going to bed in that, are you?"

"No, not if you don't want me to," he says, looking down at her in awe and with heat in his eyes. Jason starts to unfasten the buttons at the bottom of his shirt as she works the ones at his chest.

Iris chuckles softly at the amount of influence she has over him right now. Finishing unbuttoning his shirt, she pushes it off his shoulders and presses a kiss against his collarbone. "You know... I'm not very sleepy right now, now that I think about it."

Jason shivers a little when she tugs his shirt down and he slips his arms out of it, letting it fall to the carpet. "You're not?" he asks with a grin, raising an eyebrow.
