You got that James Dean day dream look in your eye {Iris}

 Jason had promised to take Iris out on a date one day. And now that everything seemed to be getting back to normal in town, they agreed that tonight would be the night. With a half day of work put in at the shop, Jason headed back to the apartment for a shower and a change of clothes when he saw his reflection in the mirror and realized just how much he'd let himself go. So with Alfredo by his side, he made his way to a hair shop nearby. The ladies there were very nice and trimmed his hair and beard a bit. They even asked permission to style his hair differently, and figuring, hell, he should look a little put together, he agreed. 

He left the salon feeling like a new man and, very painstakingly, sent Iris a text to let her know that he'd meet her at the apartment. After running one more errand, he heads back to their home.

Iris reaches up as she catches her breath, running her fingers through his hair and pressing a kiss against his temple. "I love you," she murmurs softly, holding him against her.

He smiles as he kisses her shoulder, trying to calm his heart rate. "I love you too, sweetie." Jason lies for a few minutes with his head resting in the crook of her neck before he rolls off Iris. "I'm gonna go grab a shower." He smiles at Iris, leaning in to kiss her cheek.

Iris pouts up and him but rolls into the warm space he leaves behind almost immediately. "All right... Be fast though or I won't let you back into bed," she grins, nuzzling into the pillow.

"Dang, you're tough after sex," he teases, chuckling as he grabs a towel and disappears into the bathroom. In a few minutes, he's clean and towels off, his hair still a bit damp as he exits the bathroom and looks at Iris. "Am I allowed back in bed now?"

"I'm always tough," Iris giggles, stretched out in the warm dent he left. "Hmmm... Maybe. If you give me a kiss."

"You're right. You run a tight ship around here." Jason grins, leaning down to kiss Iris, rubbing her cheek lovingly as he pulls back. "Still a maybe?"

"Naah... I'm cold now," she giggles, reaching up and tugging at his hand. "Come back and cuddle me."

Jason climbs back into bed, chuckling as he wraps himself around Iris. "Now I'm just a human blanket to you, I see."

"Mhmm... A sexy, muscular blanket though. And you're warmer than any blanket I've ever had," she smirks, nuzzling his collarbone.

"Awww, now you're just buttering me up." He melts though, threading his fingers in her hair. "As long as I'm your favourite blanket, I'm okay with it."

"You're the only blanket for me, honey," she grins, tugging her legs up to wind them between his. "No one else could ever compare."

His smile gets wider and he pulls the covers up over himself. "Stop, you're gonna make me blush."

Iris reaches up, tugging them back down with a grin. "Maybe I want you to blush," she purrs, smile broadening. "I love you so much, I could never wish for a better blanket."

Jason gives her a look. "Why would you want that? My face just gets red and weird." He rolls away, turning his back toward her. "Stop that.'

"Because its cute," she coos, hauling herself up to lean over him, kissing the tip of his nose. "And I love it when you're cute."

[jasonwright]

"It's only cute when you do it," he protests. When she kisses his nose, he flushes, smiling. "Okay, no. You just kissed my nose. That was cute."

"Mmmm, nope. Its cuter when you do it," she grins, looking at him upside down. Her grin widens as a blush starts up on his cheeks and she kisses his nose again. "I love your nose. Its a nice nose."

Jason shakes his head, trying to fight off the blush her compliments bring up. "It's just a nose, babe."

"Its a perfect nose," she coos, kissing it again. "The perfect size and shape and perfect for kissing. Just like the rest of you."

"Oh my god, no." Jason laughs, his cheeks burning now. He turns to bury his face in the pillow. "i'm gonna kick you out of bed now."

"You can't," she grins, nuzzling the back of his neck. "Its impossible to kick me out of bed."

"Oh really?" He turns to look at Iris. "Maybe I'll just leave the bed then."

[littleredsiren]

She leans down, kissing the tip of his nose again with a smug smile. "Are you sure you really wanna do that?"

Reaching up, he runs his fingers through Iris' hair. "Give me one good reason why I wouldn't want to."

She tilts her head into his touch, enjoying the gentle tug. "Mmmm... I'm here and I'm not wearing any clothes?"
